A design without photographs

Burgundy

Burgundy and rose gold: autumn and the winery.

The color of wine, a rose drawn in rose gold, and darkness around it. Burgundy was made for autumn weddings and for receptions in wineries, where a pastel invitation simply does not match the room.

Style: formal & black tie, dark & moody

Burgundy, deep red and rose gold.

Burgundy in detail

The rose above the names is drawn in a rose-gold line and stays still, because the design relies on color, not movement. The burgundy ground runs to the bottom, RSVP included, and rose-gold rules hold the text together without any additional ornament. The headings are in a soft serif, with a script accent on the names.

Right for you if…

  • The wedding is in a winery or a cellar
  • You are celebrating in September, October or November
  • Burgundy or deep red is your color
  • You like darker, warmer designs

What this design includes

Whatever the design, every digital wedding invitation carries the same content here, and only the look changes:

  • Online RSVP: who is coming, how many with them and their names, allergies, a song request and a note to the couple
  • Schedule of the day: from welcome drinks to dinner, each with its own time and venue
  • Calendar and maps: buttons for Google and Apple Calendar, and directions to every venue
  • Your photographs: you can add up to two, though this design works without them
  • A countdown to the big day, and an occasion line under your names
  • One link to send by text or WhatsApp, and any change is visible to every guest straight away

How to build this invitation

You put the invitation together for free and watch it come together as you type, and you pay only when you want to publish it and send it to your guests. The whole thing takes about ten minutes:

  1. Enter your names, the date, and the time and venue of each event
  2. Pick Burgundy (or any of the 35 designs, since you can change your mind)
  3. Add your photographs and a note to your guests
  4. Publish and share the link, and the replies land on your dashboard

Every plan includes all 35 designs, so which one you choose does not affect the price. The differences are set out on the pricing page. Not sure which design to go for? This helps: how to choose a digital invitation.
