A warm sepia layer over the photograph evens out its colors, so the cover reads as one piece whatever light the picture was taken in. The terracotta wash is strong enough to keep the text readable even over a light or busy photograph, which is the problem that stops most photo invitations from working. The rest of the page moves into a warm sand ground.

How to build this invitation
