A design built around photographs

Destination

A landscape across the full screen, cinematic.

Destination is the only design where the cover does not have to be a portrait of you but can be the place itself: a bay, an island, a mountain, a vineyard. The landscape runs across the full screen with a dark wash at the bottom, and the text sits low, as it would in a film title sequence.

Style: beach & destination

Sea green, dark shale and mist.
Swipe the screen, this is the real invitation

Destination in detail

The wash is built in two layers, so the text stays readable however bright the photograph is. As the page loads, the text rises from below and stops low in the frame, like the opening titles of a film, which is where the cinematic feel comes from. The colors are cooler than in our other photo designs: greenish gray and sea.

Right for you if…

  • The wedding is on an island, on the coast or abroad
  • Guests are traveling, and the location is a big part of the story
  • You have a beautiful photograph of the place, not necessarily of yourselves
  • You like darker, filmic designs

What this design includes

Whatever the design, every digital wedding invitation carries the same content here, and only the look changes:

  • Online RSVP: who is coming, how many with them and their names, allergies, a song request and a note to the couple
  • Schedule of the day: from welcome drinks to dinner, each with its own time and venue
  • Calendar and maps: buttons for Google and Apple Calendar, and directions to every venue
  • Your photographs: this design is built around them; you can add up to two
  • A countdown to the big day, and an occasion line under your names
  • One link to send by text or WhatsApp, and any change is visible to every guest straight away

How to build this invitation

You put the invitation together for free and watch it come together as you type, and you pay only when you want to publish it and send it to your guests. The whole thing takes about ten minutes:

  1. Enter your names, the date, and the time and venue of each event
  2. Pick Destination (or any of the 35 designs, since you can change your mind)
  3. Add your photographs and a note to your guests
  4. Publish and share the link, and the replies land on your dashboard

Every plan includes all 35 designs, so which one you choose does not affect the price. The differences are set out on the pricing page. Not sure which design to go for? This helps: how to choose a digital invitation.
