The gold rules between the sections draw themselves as the guest scrolls, as though somebody were pulling them with a pen. Below the hero runs a narrow photo band that looks good even empty, so the design works equally well with or without your photographs. The typography is serif, with wide letter-spacing in the kicker, the detail that lifts the whole thing into a more formal register.
