Retirement parties

Retirement party invitations

A proper send-off after years of work, with colleagues, family and old friends on one list. One link for the office email and the family chat, and an exact number for the venue.

Designed for your occasion · $49 per event · up to 150 guests · you see it before you pay

What this invitation does for you

Work and family on one list

Colleagues get the link by email, family in the group chat, former colleagues by text. Every reply ends up in the same list.

The speeches in the program

Drinks, a few words from the team, the toast, dinner. Guests know when to arrive so they do not miss the speeches.

A surprise, if you want one

Send the link only to the guests and every reply comes to the organizer, not to the person retiring.

A number for the venue

Replies count everyone coming and their diets, and the list exports as a spreadsheet for the restaurant.

Invitation wording you can copy

Change the names, dates and places and it is ready. When we make your invitation, you write the text or we put it together with you. More in our guide to retirement party invitations: wording for every tone.

Example wording for an office retirement

Please join us in honoring John Davis on his retirement after 25 years with Coastal Engineering.

Thursday, September 24, at 6 pm at The Harbor Grill, 2 Pier Road.

Dinner and a few stories John may prefer we did not tell.

Kindly reply by September 14.

When to send the invitation

Send retirement party invitations three to four weeks before the party, and earlier if former colleagues or family need to travel. Ask for replies a week to ten days ahead, when the venue needs the final number.

How it works

From your first message to a finished invitation is usually a few days.

1

Tell us about it

The occasion, the date, roughly how many guests, and any theme or colors you have in mind.

2

We design it

Built around your occasion. You see it finished before you pay, and ask for changes until it is right.

3

Send one link

By text, WhatsApp or email. Replies arrive in your list as guests send them.

Frequently asked questions

Who usually organizes a retirement party?

Colleagues, the employer or the family, and sometimes all three together. Name the hosts on the invitation so guests know who to contact.

Can we invite colleagues and family together?

Yes. The link is the same for everyone and can go out by work email, text or a family group chat. Every reply lands in one list.

Can the retirement party be a surprise?

Yes. Say so on the invitation, send the link only to the guests, and ask them to arrive before the guest of honor.

Can the invitation include a photo?

Yes. The design is made for the person retiring, so a photo, the company's colors or a nod to their job can be part of it.

How much does it cost?

$49 once per event for up to 150 guests, with no subscription and no charge per guest. The design is made for your occasion, and you see it finished before you pay anything.
